The Cuisine Of Panama

Recently we featured a post about travelling to the tropical paradise of Panama. Often one of the first questions on a traveler’s mind involves the local cuisine. A classic Panama meal generally includes meat, coconut rice, and beans accompanied by local fruits and vegetables such as yucca, squash, and plantains. Visitors are invited to dine on such local favorites as empanadas, tamales, ceviche, and yuca frita (aka. tropical French fries).
